What does the A2 allow me to do?

Fly C2 class drones closer to people: down to 30 metres from uninvolved people, or 5 metres with low-speed mode on.

Are the certificates valid in other countries?

Yes. A1/A3 and A2 certificates issued by any EASA authority are valid in all 31 EASA countries.

Do I need my own drone?

Not for the online course. For the practical self-training required by the A2, you will need to fly a drone.

Do I need the A1/A3 for a drone under 250 g?

Yes, if it has a camera. Only toy drones without a camera are exempt.

How long does the course take?

About 6.5 hours including the mock exams, at your own pace.

How long do I have access?

Lifetime access, so you can review the content again when you renew your certificate.

How much do the official exams cost?

It depends on the country, and EU Drone Port does not set the fees. Both exams are free in Spain, and you can take them there whatever your nationality.

He probado muchas escuelas diferentes.
